Artisans at the Harbor is delighted to introduce the musicians who will perform this summer from 1:30 to 3:30 PM on the Lin Whitehead Bandshell in Falmouth Marine Park.

June 25: Kim Moberg and Heather Swanson

Award winning singer/songwriter/guitarist Kim Moberg was born in Juneau, Alaska, the daughter of a mother of Alaskan Native Tlingit descent and a US Coast Guard veteran father from Kansas. A classical pianist and guitarist, Kim’s mother guided her love for a wide range of musical genres from traditional and contemporary jazz to Broadway tunes and Folk music. Her father, a country music fan, exposed her to legendary country music artist. As a folk/Americana artist, Kim’s sound reflects this mélange of her musical upbringing.

Kim’s rich vocals, described as “a blend of honey and whiskey,” gently guides listeners through her musical stories while her compositions tug at feelings of melancholy, heartbreak, healing and social consciousness.

Kim recently released her fourth CD,  “All That Really Matters” (2025).

Heather Swanson is a classical violinist who crossed over to folk and traditional Celtic music. She has performed in pit orchestras, stage productions and symphony orchestras from the Boston area to Cape Cod. Heather attended Boston University and UMass/Lowell and is a music educator, specializing in the Suzuki Method.  

Heather performs with her cellist daughter Krista Lucich as the Cape Violin Cello Duo, as accompanist for Singer/Songwriters Kim Moberg and Caroline Brennan and in an Irish Duo featuring Traditional Irish Folk music. 

Heather’s first CD “Beside Quiet Waters”(2019) is a collection of traditional and contemporary Celtic tunes recorded and produced by Grammy-nominated producer Jon Evans.

Kim and Heather have been performing together for over eight years, Their folk/American sound smoothly blends Kim’s vocal melodies with Heather violin harmonies on both Kim’s original music and their chosen cover interpretations. 

July 2: The Familiars of Cape Cod

The Familiars of Cape Cod perform a blend of folk, fiddle, country, and Americana music from the 1950s through 1980s, and more. The Familiars include Manny Dias on vocals and guitar, Linda Dias on violin, mandolin, harmonica, Irish whistles and Celtic harp, Frank Carotenuto on vocals and guitar, and Robert Nelson on bass.

July 9: Wayside Sound

Wayside Sound is a Falmouth-based Americana-blues band. The group reimagines roots music in an organic and inviting way. With poignant storytelling, energetic guitar solos, and captivating vocals, Wayside Sound cultivates a homegrown and memorable sound.

July 16: Rose Martin and Jerry Doherty

July 23: Back in Time

Back in Time is a five-member oldies cover band that is all about singing along, dancing, and having fun. They play songs by the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Eagles, Creedence, Jimmy Buffett, Motown hits, and more. Band members inslude Andy Hamilton, Steve Cortis, Manny Rosado, Dave Margaretos, and Curt Bakal.

July 30: Bside

BSIDE is a trio of Falmouth residents Kim Bilderback, guitar, Mark Thibodeau, vocals/guitar, and Anthony Fragnito, electric bass. Known for their unique blend of country sounds and southern flair, BSIDE will include laid-back beach vibes, heartfelt lyrics and high-energy honky-tonk grooves.

August 6: Silver Beach

Silver Beach is a fun acoustic duo featuring Chuck Williamson on guitar and Ashley Edwards on piano/vocals. The Falmouth-based performers are known for their engaging audience interaction and energetic performances of acoustic pop-rock covers spanning from the 1960s to today. Feel free to sing/clap/play tambourine and dance along!

August 13: Dawna Hammers

With over 35 years experience performing and teaching throughout New England, Dawna Hammers has touched and inspired thousands of people of all ages and walks of lifeHer voice is earthy and ethereal and her piano is rhythmic and melodic. Dawna’s sound is fresh and uniquely her own yet many compare her to Joni Mitchell, Carol King, Sarah Mclachlan, and Norah Jones. Dawna sings ballads, bossas, and blues, as well as folk, soft rock, classic rock, world beat, and children’s music.

August 20: Falmouth Fiddlers

The Falmouth Fiddlers describe themselves as friendly people who have been playing fiddle tunes and other acoustic music around Falmouth since 1998. They play fiddles, banjos, bass, bodhran, guitars, mandolins, whistles, and cello. Many of those in the group met through its founder, the late fiddler and luthier Jim Boyce (1943-1015) at a Falmouth Fiddlers performance, his Falmouth Night School fiddle classes, by word of mouth or chance, or were inspired by his former FCTV show, “Fiddlin’ in Falmouth.”

August 27: Epistrophy, with Olivia Yingling and Greg Polanik

Epistrophy combines the soulful, passionate voice of Olivia Yingling with the masterful, powerful guitar of Greg Polanik.  Their repertoire is a carefully chosen selection of the best Jazz, Latin and Popular songs, designed to convey the full emotional range that only be expressed with music.
