Artisans at the Harbor is delighted to introduce the musicians who will perform this summer.
July 3: The Harper and the Minstrel

The Harper and the Minstrel are Abby and Jay Michaels, a dynamic musical duo that specializes in playing Irish music with authentic flair and enchanting instrumentation. Their mastery of the Celtic harp and other traditional instruments, such as the hammered dulcimer, Irish flute, penny whistle, and mountain dulcimer, makes them beloved performers at festivals and other venues across the US and in Ireland.
July 10: BSIDE

BSIDE is a trio of Falmouth residents Kim Bilderback, guitar, Mark Thibodeau, vocals/guitar, and Anthony Fragnito, electric bass. Known for their unique blend of country sounds and southern flair, BSIDE will include laid-back beach vibes, heartfelt lyrics and high-energy honky-tonk grooves.
July 17: Kim Moberg

Award winning singer/songwriter/guitarist Kim Moberg was born in Juneau, Alaska, the daughter of a mother of Alaskan Native Tlingit descent and a US Coast Guard veteran father from Kansas. A classical pianist and guitarist, Kim’s mother guided her love for a wide range of musical genres from traditional and contemporary jazz to Broadway tunes and Folk music. Her father, a country music fan, exposed her to legendary country music artist. As a folk/Americana artist, Kim’s sound reflects this mélange of her musical upbringing.
Kim’s rich vocals, described as “a blend of honey and whiskey,” gently guides listeners through her musical stories while her compositions tug at feelings of melancholy, heartbreak, healing and social consciousness.
Kim recently released her fourth CD, “All That Really Matters” (2025).
Heather Swanson is a classical violinist who crossed over to folk and traditional Celtic music. She has performed in pit orchestras, stage productions and symphony orchestras from the Boston area to Cape Cod. Heather attended Boston University and UMass/Lowell and is a music educator, specializing in the Suzuki Method.
Heather performs with her cellist daughter Krista Lucich as the Cape Violin Cello Duo, as accompanist for Singer/Songwriters Kim Moberg and Caroline Brennan and in an Irish Duo featuring Traditional Irish Folk music.
Heather’s first CD “Beside Quiet Waters”(2019) is a collection of traditional and contemporary Celtic tunes recorded and produced by Grammy-nominated producer Jon Evans.
Kim and Heather have been performing together for over eight years, Their folk/American sound smoothly blends Kim’s vocal melodies with Heather violin harmonies on both Kim’s original music and their chosen cover interpretations.
July 24: The Familiars

The Familiars of Cape Cod perform a blend of folk, fiddle, country, and Americana music from the 1950s through 1980s, and more. The Familiars include Manny Dias on vocals and guitar, Linda Dias on violin, mandolin, harmonica, Irish whistles and Celtic harp, Frank Carotenuto on vocals and guitar, and Robert Nelson on bass.
July 31: 41st Street Band

The 41 st Street Band interprets songs by Bruce Springsteen and plays
songs by other artists, including traditional tunes in his style. The mix of
acoustic and electric guitars with bass, and violin produces a blend of
folk, rock, blues, and soul music.
August 7: Mwalim

Multi-award-winning singer/songwriter, guitarist, and pianist Mwalim DaPhunkee Professor brings his signature blend of blues, soul, and funk to Artisans at the Harbor, making a stop on his East Coast tour in support of his NAMA-nominated solo album THUNDERCHILD. A founding member of the Grammy-nominated band The GroovaLottos and a Poly-Groove Recording Artist, Mwalim’s music weaves deep grooves with rich storytelling.
A Mashpee Wampanoag elder of Bajan heritage, his sound is shaped by jazz, blues, funk, calypso, ska, and Afrobeat. A classically trained violist, he performed at Carnegie Hall before the age of 14 and later attended New York City’s famed High School of Music & Art. His grandfather, jazz pianist and bandleader Allan Nurse, was his first piano teacher, and his mother—a coloratura soprano with New York’s Amatto Opera Company—helped nurture his early love of music.
Mwalim is a three-time New England Urban Music Award winner for Best Male Jazz Artist and a three-time Silver Arrow Music Award recipient. He also serves as Head of Production at Polyphonic Studios, working closely with a new generation of artists, including his son, The ZYG 808.
August 14: Wayside Sound

Wayside Sound is a Falmouth-based Americana-blues band. The group reimagines roots music in an organic and inviting way. With poignant storytelling, energetic guitar solos, and captivating vocals, Wayside Sound cultivates a homegrown and memorable sound.
August 21: Back in Time

Back in Time is a five-member oldies cover band that is all about singing along, dancing, and having fun. They play songs by the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Eagles, Creedence, Jimmy Buffett, Motown hits, and more. Band members inslude Andy Hamilton, Steve Cortis, Manny Rosado, Dave Margaretos, and Curt Bakal.
August 28: Dawna Hammers

With over 35 years experience performing and teaching throughout New England, Dawna has touched and inspired thousands of people of all ages and walks of life. Her voice is earthy and ethereal and her piano is rhythmic and melodic. Dawna’s sound is fresh and uniquely her own yet many compare her to Joni Mitchell, Carol King, Sarah Mclachlan, and Norah Jones. Dawna sings ballads, bossas, and blues, as well as folk, soft rock, classic rock, world beat, and children’s music.
